Most of our websites utilize the same plugins and tools in the WordPress Admin area. We try to keep the management of your website as simple as possible.

Logging In to Your WordPress Admin Area

Most of our websites will have an admin link that looks like this below. Replace with your own domain name.


Resetting Your Password

The password reset page can be found at the link below. This form will send you a link to reset your password. Please be sure to check spam if not received within 15 minutes or so.



All of your static (not news/blogs) are located under PAGES in your WordPress Admin area. 

  1. Click on PAGES in your admin (top left).
  2. Click on the TITLE of the page to open the editor.
  3. Choose from the videos below to help you edit the areas.

Add and Edit Text

Add and edit text by using WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCE).

Add and Edit Images

Add images, edit size, add links or CSS animation.

Add and Edit Image Gallery

Add and edit image gallery. If you have a group of photos on your website in a gallery format, this will help you manage them.

All News & Updates areas are managed under POSTS in your WordPress Admin area. (See photo ->)

While this area is fairly self explanatory – it is important to note that in most cases the CATEGORY selection is important. This tells WordPress where to display your new post.

Once you have added/edited your page content – remember to PUBLISH/UPDATE your page. This is the BLUE button on the top right of the page.

Adding a NEW Slide to your Homepage Slideshow.

Most of our websites include a large image slideshow on the Homepage. Editing this area may feel a little overwhelming at first. Please watch the video to the right to help you understand how to add a new slide.

Image Size:
We recommend using an image that is 1600px wide (or larger), with a horizontal orientation. Vertical, or smaller images, may not display very well in the allotted space. Please ask us for help, if need be.

We utilize GravityForms as our preferred form processing plugin.

Below will show you how to change the email address forms are sent to, view form submission that are saved in the database, and add/remove fields on your forms.

Adding/Changing Form Recipients

This video will walk you through the process of managing form recipients. Your website will already have at least one recipient added. You can add additional recipients, or change the one we have added.

View Form Submissions

GravityForms saves all form submissions into the database. You can view these submissions in your WordPress admin area. See the video above to see where to find these. This is particularly helpful if you feel your forms are not sending properly to your email.

Removing and Modifying Footer and Sidebar Widgets

Visit the Appearance > Widgets panel.

On the left side of the page, you’ll see all available widgets. Default widgets will be visible here, plus any additional widgets that have been added by your installed plugins. On the right, you’ll see all of your widget available widget locations.

To add a widget to a location, simply drag the widget from its place on the left into the right section to activate them. To remove them, simply drag the widget back or click delete.

Our designs generally utilize the MAIN SIDEBAR and FOOTER 1, FOOTER 2, FOOTER 3 widget areas.


This widget area can typically be found used on Blog/News pages.
